Alocasia Zebrina

This stunning plant thrives best in well lit, bright conditions, however more than an hour of direct sunlight may burn the leaves.  This plant likes a moist environment with above average humidity. Stand on a pebble tray to improve humidity and mist frequently during the spring and summer.

Keep the compost moist with tepid water. Do not allow the soil to dry out.  I water mine from below.  Needs to be kept warm, ideally between 18-22°C.

Alocasia have a dormant period where leaves will fade and die so do not be alarmed when this happens. During this period, the plants will require less water.
